Such a cute coffee shop! The staff was so sweet and welcoming. My hubby loved his café con leche, and my iced caramel latte was a 10/10! We also tried their El Boricua Classic sandwich (ham and cheese on mallorca bread — my husband’s favorite), and it reminded us of the classic ones we’d get when visiting the island. Highly recommend this place! I just wish it was closer, but it’s definitely worth the hour drive

Such a good spot! We ordered a pumpkin cold brew with cold foam and a caramel apple butter latte, and they were both delicious and not overly sweet. We saw a few other flavors we look forward to coming back and trying. Staff is so friendly, and the space is welcoming and cozy. Can’t wait to come back!

I found Mi Cafecito Spot on TikTok and finally decided to visit today. Parking is on the street, and while you might have to walk a little, it’s worth it. When I arrived, I had never seen a small coffee shop so packed. The line was long, people were waiting outside, and salsa music was playing softly in the background, giving the place a warm Puerto Rican vibe. I ordered the caramel apple butter latte with whole milk and whipped cream, and “El Pavo,” a sandwich made with eggs, cheese, and turkey sausage. They had run out of croissants, so one of the cooks offered to use pan sobao instead, and I’m so happy she did. It made the sandwich taste even more authentic and delicious. My order came out in less than 10 minutes, even though the place was busy. The staff was friendly and handled the rush so well. Even in such a hectic environment, they stayed kind and calm. No one looked frustrated or tired, and everyone had a pleasant smile. The sandwich was 10 out of 10 and the latte was 100 out of 10 — even better than Starbucks’ seasonal apple brown sugar espresso. You can tell they use good ingredients, and I love that they offer different milks, syrups, and even Puerto Rican coffee options like café con leche. There’s also a cozy reading corner with books, which makes this a great spot if you want to study, work, or just relax with your coffee and a good read. My only recommendation would be to add a bit more Puerto Rican decoration — maybe some art of the coquí, coffee plants, or a jíbaro working in la finca. I did notice a Puerto Rican jersey on the wall, which I loved, but I think adding more touches like that would make the space feel even more connected to the Island. There’s enough seating if you want to eat in, but I decided to take mine to go since I had a busy day ahead and the shop was full. I didn’t want to take up space from families who wanted to dine in. Overall, this place truly exceeded my expectations. As a Puerto Rican who moved back to New Jersey from Tampa, it feels amazing to find a spot like this in South Jersey. I can’t wait to come back and bring my parents.

Started coming here regularly and this spot is amazing. Always super friendly and have tried a lot of their menu, yet to not be blown away. Especially love the espresso, cafe mocha, and macchiato! Pastries are always good as well

I am so glad I finally got to check out MI CAFECITO SPOT! Everything about it is perfect and it is a much welcome addition to Woodbury! The sweet woman who opened up this cafe clearly cares about creating an environment that brings people together to bond over great coffee and Puerto Rican classics! The menu offers a great taste of Puerto Rico while still providing options for those who may be unfamiliar with Puerto Rican cuisine and want to ease their way in.
